Social Worker in the Pfarrer-Sieber-Huus 50 %

Our foundation-owned social counseling service is a low-threshold counseling center for people in emergency situations and difficult life circumstances. This counseling center subsidiarily complements the offerings of other social institutions in the Canton of Zürich and works together with them. It is also responsible for the social work counseling of adolescents and young adults in the emergency shelter Nemo as well as in the newly opened Pfarrer-Sieber-Huus.

We are looking for, as of 1 November 2026 or by arrangement, a

Social Worker in the Pfarrer-Sieber-Huus 50 % ##

Your tasks: ###

• Social counseling of clients in the new Pfarrer-Sieber-Huus
• Advocacy for the clientele towards offices and authorities
• Support in enforcing state claims
• Qualified case documentation and data collection
• Cooperation with other operations of the Sozialwerk Pfarrer Sieber

Your profile: ###

• You have a completed FH degree in Social Work
• You bring professional experience in low-threshold social work
• You can approach people in an uncomplicated manner and establish initial contact
• You enjoy searching for creative solutions
• You have good knowledge of social assistance, state social benefits, and social insurance
• You are confident and self-assured in contact with public authorities
• You enjoy organizing your daily work independently and contributing ideas
