Course Instructor in voluntary school sports - Schulkreis Schwamendingen, 5 %

In free courses at their own school, children and adolescents from the city of Zurich can get to know sports in depth during an entire school year. For this, we are looking for qualified and motivated personalities starting from mid-August. Tasks ## • You accompany a group of at least 12 to max. 24 students, from partly different grade levels, during a lesson of 45 - 90 minutes • For this, you independently plan and design a versatile, age-appropriate sports program, depending on the sport • In doing so, you promote coordination, body awareness, fair play, and self-confidence of students • You are responsible for the administration of your course (checking attendance lists, submitting reports to the Sportamt, reporting registrations and deregistrations of participants) • Willingness to lead a course until the end of the school year.   Suitable and motivated course instructors are sought for the following courses:   • Fair Kämpfen (Kr.Nr. 675), every Monday, 16.15 - 17.00, for Unterstufe to Mittelstufe, at the Schule Auzelg • Leichtathletik (Kr.Nr. 681), every Friday, 16.15 - 17.30, for Unterstufe to Mittelstufe, at the Schule Auzelg • Urban Dance (Kr.Nr. 3495), every Tuesday, 16.45 - 17.45, for Unterstufe to Mittelstufe, at the Schule Leutschenbach Profile ## • Enthusiasm for sport and movement (e.g., as an active member of a sports club) • Training as a sports instructor or pedagogical training (e.g., PH or FaBe K) • Completed training as a Jugend und Sport Leiter*in or the willingness to complete this • Organizational talent with a high sense of responsibility • Experience in guiding children and adolescents in the field of sport We offer ## • Meaningful work with children and adolescents • Secondary employment with the possibility to gain teaching experience from kindergarten to secondary level • Content support and further training opportunities • Expansion of the workload up to 20 percent with permanent employment possible Apply Apply About us ## The Sportamt is a service department of the Schul- und Sportdepartement of the Stadt Zürich. It is the competence center for sports promotion and provides the sports-enthusiastic population and clubs with sports facilities including indoor and outdoor pools. The organization of compulsory swimming lessons as well as voluntary school sports are also among the core tasks of the Sportamt. With targeted information, the Sportamt motivates more movement and advises and supports sports organizations.
