Your contribution

• Holistically support and further develop specialist applications in the field of Swiss travel documents with the team, including ensuring specialist support for cantons, EDA and citizens
• Plan and lead sub-projects and ensure agreed goals, milestones, results, costs and deadlines
• Support project managers, develop concepts and decision-making bases as well as organize and document workshops and meetings
• Plan, control and execute tests, releases and rollouts as well as maintain the test laboratory
• Conduct analyses, evaluate process KPIs as well as support quality assurance, testing and operational operations
• Apply project management methods and instruments as well as ensure training and information exchange with support and operations

What makes you unique

• Higher technical education at FH, HF level or with a federal professional certificate or diploma in informatics
• Experience in specialist support as well as in test and release management of complex specialist applications
• Analytical, logical and networked thinking as well as an independent way of working
• Communication and negotiation skills as well as the ability to coordinate different interests and resolve conflicts constructively
• Team player with a strong service orientation
• Good oral and written knowledge of a second official language as well as in English

fedpol develops and operates national information systems and fulfills supervisory, licensing and enforcement tasks in weapons and explosives law. The Directorate of Police Systems and Identification (PSI) of fedpol ensures the secure operation and further development of central police information systems and databases, is responsible for the national hub for police information exchange and provides identification and forensic services for domestic and foreign partner authorities. The Department of Identity Documents and Central Offices (AZS) executes the federal statutory tasks in identity documents as well as in weapons and explosives law. It includes the two central offices for weapons and explosives, the area of identity documents and E-ID as well as the competence center for security documents and counterfeit money and is responsible for senior supervision and market monitoring, the issuance and further development of identity documents and E-ID solutions as well as the analysis and combatting of misuse and forgeries.
