Senior Consultant (M/F) – CTO advisory Geneva, Switzerland

Our Geneva-based office, composed of a team of approximately 70 consultants, accompanies major accounts in the local Swiss market in their large transformation projects and combines an understanding of clients' business challenges with leading technological expertise.

The objective of these engaged teams is notably to contribute to positioning Wavestone as the trusted advisory partner for Chief Technology Officers (CTO) in their most ambitious technological and organizational transformations.

Your main responsibility will be to accompany our clients who must respond to the following challenges:

• Accompany business units in their transition towards the Cloud and next-generation networks;
• Transform the working environment of employees to bring more efficiency, collaboration, and innovation;
• Build more agile and business-oriented technological platforms to support data and applications;
• Leverage Artificial Intelligence to improve process efficiency, decision-making, and service delivery;
• Evolve IT organizations to make them more efficient, agile, and oriented towards customer value;
• Implement a responsible digital approach.

Challenges that translate into exciting consulting missions due to their complexity, their requirements, and their expertise, for the office teams. Missions that are illustrated as follows:

• Define new modes of digital collaboration, modernize tools and the digital work experience, boost the adoption of new digital tools
• Define IS transformation strategies towards the Cloud, frame these transformations on financial, technological, and organizational plans, then pilot the implementation.
• Frame, design, and accompany the implementation of technological solutions enabling the implementation of new AI usages
• Build the technological foundation and development factory that allows for the support of business services: implementation on Azure/AWS/etc., deployment of DevOps factory and associated coaching, FinOps
• Measure the carbon footprint of digital and define the improvement plan for major accounts.
• Rethink the organizations and operating models of IT teams to take advantage of new technologies and optimize operating modes.

MISSIONS / ROLE – EXPERIENCED CONSULTANT / SENIOR CONSULTANT

Depending on your expertise, you will be required to advise our clients as an Experienced Consultant / Senior Consultant on various topics such as:

• Provide a leading contribution to the delivery of your missions by ensuring Wavestone's quality commitments to meet your clients' expectations on complex IT transformation programs.
• Master one or more technical subject(s) and develop your ability to convince your clients on the topics you address.
• Design, plan, and manage IT transformation projects and programs, in direct contact with your clients (autonomously or supported by a Manager / Partner).
• Foster the skill development of young consultants by transmitting your know-how and supervising less experienced employees.
• Maintain a relationship of trust with your client while conducting projects under responsibility, managing the schedule, risks, and resources.
• Actively participate in the commercial dynamics of the office by identifying new business opportunities, ensuring the design and conduct of commercial proposals, and participating in client presentations.
• Actively contribute to the development actions of the office (performance management of the practice, recruitment...) and contribute to the firm's reputation (publications, development of convictions and expertise on our offerings).
• Get involved in other internal initiatives participating in the development of the Geneva office: role of Career Development Manager (proximity manager), recruitment activities, practice performance management, training animation.

• You have a strong interest in the consulting profession and can demonstrate 3 to 5 years of successful experience in IT transformation topics (a first experience in the consulting world or in a large group in Switzerland is highly valued).
• Your professional background has allowed you to develop a good understanding of one or more of the following topics: cloud transformations, IT architecture, application architecture, enterprise architecture, Data platform, containers, DevOps tools and CI/CD chains, AI for IT, FinOps, collaboration tools and workstation transformation, M365 architectures, Copilot, smart connectivity & network architectures.
