PH Zurich actively shapes today's and tomorrow's education, school, and teaching in education and research. The primary department is responsible for the training of primary school teachers. It currently offers three bachelor-level curricula as well as specializations and extension levels, which transmit fundamental skills for teaching in primary school.

Professional practical training is a central element of the studies of future teachers. From the first weeks of study, students get an overview of professional daily life in public schools in the canton of Zürich and assume increasing responsibilities in the design of teaching during their studies. PH Zurich and the school field pursue a common goal. They train teachers who achieve good results in the complex "school" system. What you will do.

• Lateral management of a team of internship supervisors at the cooperative school, including development and quality assurance
• Acquisition, organization, and administration of internship places as well as budget management
• Communication and coordination between the cooperative school and PH Zurich
• Establishment and maintenance of a network with university representatives, school managements, and school authorities as well as internship supervisors from their own cooperative school
• Participation in the design of professional practical training at the cooperative school (exchanges, continuing education, quality assurance) as an expert in school practice, in collaboration with mentors
• Participation and organization of events at the cooperative school and at PH Zurich

What you bring.

• Employment as a teacher in the Fällanden school municipality is indispensable
• Several years of experience as a teacher at the target level and internship supervisor
• Very good integration and network within the teaching staff of the schools belonging to the cooperative school
• Good organizational skills
• Flexible and constructive attitude towards different role expectations
• High stress resistance, flexibility, and taste for innovation
• Willingness and ability to communicate, notably mastery of conducting conversations even in conflict situations
• Willingness to improve oneself for this function
