(Junior) Manager Occupational Safety (m/f/d) 80-100%

The aim of this position is the professional and strategic advice of the company management, the executives, and the specialist departments in all matters of occupational safety and health protection. You support the further development of our safety culture, design the structuring of relevant processes, and ensure the legally compliant adherence to all statutory and internal requirements within the company.

Your tasks ##

• Creation, maintenance, and further development of operational safety concepts and guidelines based on national laws as well as internal requirements.
• Conducting site inspections as well as creating and checking hazard assessments to initiate occupational safety concepts and preventive measures.
• Competent advice for executives of all levels and creation of practical training for employees to promote an active safety culture.
• Collection, analysis, and reporting of relevant safety key figures (e.g., accident statistics) as well as derivation of continuous optimization measures.
• Coordination of external ASGS service providers, central contact person for inquiries from authorities, Suva, and public bodies, as well as participation in ASA system controls nationwide.

Your profile ##

• Completed vocational training (EFZ) or a university degree (e.g., in a technical or business administration field); further training as an ASGS specialist or safety engineer is an advantage or the willingness to complete this.
• Several years of practical experience in the field of occupational safety and health protection (ASGS) in an industrial or logistical environment.
• Sound knowledge of Swiss legislation, ordinances, and guidelines (EKAS / Suva).
• Strong advisory competence, assertiveness, and the ability to convey safety requirements in a practical and convincing manner.
• Business fluent German skills, good French skills are an advantage, as well as driver's license Cat. B
