Key Account Manager (m/f/d) Construction and Steel Industry

This is what you can move. • With proactive support of your portfolio, you identify additional needs and develop tailor-made rail logistics solutions for them. • You win new customers in the construction and steel industry and further develop the business with your existing key account portfolio so that more goods are transported in a climate-friendly manner on rail. • In quotation and tender processes, you negotiate framework agreements, prices, and services independently and lead the closings securely to completion. • Together with internal partners, you coordinate the operational implementation and accompany new projects from the idea to realization. • Based on analyses of traffic flows, customer needs, and market trends, you derive measures for customer retention and the acquisition of new customers. • Through your holistic view, you contribute to the further development of our service portfolio for construction and steel and ensure close integration with production and sales. This is what you bring with you. • You communicate clearly, bring different interests together, and achieve sustainable solutions. • In demanding customer situations, you demonstrate negotiation skills and appropriate assertiveness. • With an analytical and strategic mindset, you recognize potentials and translate them into marketable offers. • You bring several years of experience in Key Account Management, ideally in freight transport, logistics, construction, or the steel industry, and you understand rail transport such as wagonload traffic, construction site logistics, and intermodal transport. • You have a completed higher education at a Higher Technical College, University of Applied Sciences, or University in business administration, logistics, or transport management, or an equivalent qualification, and you are ready to travel within Switzerland. • In German, you are business fluent at level C2 and ideally you master another national language and English at level B2.
