In order to strengthen our team, we are looking for a Fish Buyer. As a buyer specializing in the field of fresh fish, you are responsible for the procurement and management of orders in these product categories. Your main missions include the selection and monitoring of suppliers, the negotiation of prices and contracts, as well as guaranteeing the availability of goods in the required quality and within the deadlines. You monitor market and price developments, ensure compliance with quality and hygiene standards, and collaborate closely with the quality assurance, logistics and sales departments. You also contribute, through strategic assortment management, to the optimization of costs, availability and customer satisfaction. Your main responsibilities • Complete management of the ordering process in the assigned product groups • Guaranteeing the availability and quality of all products • Negotiation of prices and conditions in the interest of Fideco SA • Close collaboration with sales, the warehouse and suppliers • Analysis of market and customer needs • Processing of complaints in coordination with the warehouse • Continuous development of the assortment in consultation with management • Active collection of market information and maintenance of the supplier network Your profile • Solid knowledge in gastronomy and expertise in fish • Proven experience in purchasing (seafood / fish an asset) • CFC as a cook or commercial training (CFC as a commercial employee) • Experience with computer systems (ERP an asset) • Commercial spirit and transversal vision Mastery of French and German (English an asset) • Confident and professional presentation • Analytical, precise and efficient way of working • Great capacity for teamwork, loyalty and passion for the culinary universe We offer • A position of responsibility with direct influence on our assortment • Collaboration with motivated colleagues in a dynamic environment • Varied contacts with suppliers and producers in Switzerland and abroad • Employment conditions in accordance with your performance • A workplace based in the charming town of Morat
