The Social Services of the city of Kloten is the first point of contact for people who are in a financial emergency. Based on the Social Assistance Act of the Canton of Zürich, it is investigated whether there is an entitlement to economic assistance. The goal of social assistance is to guarantee the social minimum subsistence level and to promote and demand social and professional integration.

To reinforce our team, we are looking for a motivated and cheerful personality as of 1 January 2027 or by arrangement.

Social Worker in Training (MAiA), m/f/d, 60 - 80% ##

Your area of responsibility

• Counseling and case management within the framework of statutory social assistance
• Provision and calculation of economic social assistance
• Support and promotion of professional and social integration
• Counseling in social, health, legal and financial matters
• The mediation/assertion of claims/benefits towards third parties
• Interdisciplinary cooperation with internal and external specialist agencies
• Case documentation in the IT system TUTORIS
• Processing of requests, applications and other case-related administrative tasks

You bring with you

• Commencement of a part-time studies program at a FH in Social Work
• High social competence and resilience
• Independent work organization as well as strong communication and teamwork skills
• Good IT application knowledge
