Justizvollzug und Wiedereingliederung Justizvollzugsanstalt Pöschwies Production Specialist Assembly Workshop 80 - 100% With around 1400 employees, Justizvollzug und Wiedereingliederung (JuWe) is the largest office within the Direktion der Justiz und des Innern and is responsible for the execution of sentences and measures as well as for the implementation of various types of detention. Our employees from around 40 professions support and promote the reintegration of convicted people and commit effectively and progressively to a safe and just society. The Justizvollzugsanstalt Pöschwies (JVA) is one of eight main departments of JuWe and the largest closed facility for men in Switzerland. With around 400 detention places and about 300 employees, it contributes to the protection of the general public according to its legal mandate and simultaneously creates the prerequisites for the resocialization of the admitted persons. As of 1. January 2027 or by arrangement, we are looking for reinforcement for our assembly workshop. Together with your experienced professional colleagues, you ensure a structured production everyday life and accompany, supervise and promote the admitted persons at their workstations. Your tasks * You ensure order and safety in the workshop and shape a structured working everyday life with * You actively participate in the planning, assembly, commissioning and operation of new production lines * You accompany, instruct and motivate the admitted persons in their daily work * You plan and coordinate individual employment assignments taking into account the skills and resources of the admitted persons * Administrative tasks related to production orders are also part of your area of activity * You record observations on the development and behavior of the admitted persons in reports and assessments * You engage as an active member in the plant fire brigade Your profile * You have completed a basic manual or technical training with a federal certificate of competency (EFZ) * You bring professional experience in a manual or technical environment; experience with production systems is a plus * Ideally, you have completed further training as a specialist in corrections as well as additional training in work pedagogy * Working with people interests you and you can well imagine combining your specialist knowledge with work pedagogical tasks * Good German skills in speaking and writing as well as reliable MS-Office skills round off your profile; other languages are a plus * You are at least 25 years old and have an impeccable record (criminal and debt enforcement register without entries) Our offer * A meaningful and responsible task with a lot of variety in an extraordinary working environment * Regular working hours that allow you good predictability of your everyday life * A well-coordinated and experienced team that supports you in your new task * Catering options directly on site in the JVA restaurant * Attractive employment conditions according to cantonal guidelines Your application Do you want to combine your manual or technical know-how with a meaningful task?
