At our headquarters in Deitingen, we bring development, production, sales, and logistics together under one roof. For this central interface function, we are looking for a person who does not consider purchasing, AVOR, and PPS separately, but who connects them into a solid global process. This position is aimed at people who take responsibility, achieve measurable improvements, and anchor solutions consistently in daily operations. Your responsibilities # • Operational procurement of raw materials, components, commercial goods, and services, including comparison of offers, allocation, and order management • Conducting demanding negotiations on prices, conditions, and contracts with demonstrable economic results • Selection, evaluation, and continuous development of high-performance suppliers as well as implementation of reliable alternative sources • Rigorous monitoring of orders, delivery times, and material availability, as well as autonomous management of discrepancies, quality defects, and claims • Planning of production, capacity, and utilization, as well as steering and prioritization of the manufacturing program • Ensuring the availability of materials and resources while maintaining economical stocks and as low capital commitment as possible • Development and maintenance of reliable work plans, master data, and relevant documents for production • Active responsibility in the introduction and continuous development of the new ERP/PPS system in your area of competence • Digitization and optimization of procurement, planning, and material flow processes - including monitoring implementation, compliance, and the sustainable anchoring of improvements • Close and committed collaboration with production, sales, technical, quality, logistics, and finance Success criteria # • Materials and production resources are available at the necessary time - without unnecessarily high stocks • Delivery and production discrepancies are detected early, made transparent, and resolved consistently • Negotiations result in measurably improved prices, conditions, availability, or risk positions • ERP data, work plans, and processes are correct, practical, and sustainably respected Your profile and skills # • Basic technical or commercial training, ideally supplemented by continuing education in purchasing, supply chain, production planning, or process management • Several years of successful experience in purchasing, AVOR, and PPS or production planning in an industrial environment • Demonstrable success in negotiation, supplier development, material availability, or production steering • Very good knowledge of ERP/PPS systems; experience in the introduction of an ERP or complete digitization of processes is a clear advantage • Very good knowledge of German and good knowledge of English • Analytical strength, assertiveness, and a pronounced sense of cost, quality, and deadlines • High degree of autonomy: you identify needs for action, make informed decisions, and lead topics to completion reliably What awaits you # Impact & development ## • A key role with direct influence on costs, delivery capacity, and production performance • Great leeway, short decision paths, as well as attractive opportunities for continuing education and development • Performance-based remuneration and the possibility to contribute sustainably to the design of central systems and processes Does this position suit you? # If you only want to process individual orders or manage production plans, this position is not for you.
