What to expect

In this role, you are part of our 4-person sourcing team and provide active support. You coordinate the operational processing of our international purchasing orders and ensure that biological raw materials and diagnostic materials arrive on time and with complete documentation. In doing so, you support the purchasing management and are the central coordination point between suppliers, freight forwarders, customs agents, and internal customers.

Your main tasks include:

• Creating purchasing orders in the ERP system and tracking them until complete goods receipt, or coordinating delivery deviations
• Checking order confirmations for prices, quantities, delivery dates, and conditions, and clarifying deviations with our international suppliers
• Checking invoices (purchasing/freight/customs) as well as quality documents for discrepancies
• Active exchange with internal departments/customers regarding all questions concerning orders
• Independent completion of diverse administrative tasks for the purchasing management and the team
• Maintaining supplier, article, and order data as well as maintaining document filing

Who you are

• Completed commercial training and/or comparable education/further training, ideally as an Import/Export Clerk
• Very good MS Office skills (Excel) and experience with ERP systems
• Structured way of working and enjoyment of planning and coordination tasks
• Quick comprehension and enjoyment of working in a dynamic, sometimes hectic environment
• Fluent English and German (business level)
