Our client is a dynamic, internationally successful industrial company in the Winterthur area. To continuously ensure the highest quality standards in the field of Machining (mechanical manufacturing), we are looking for a dedicated and precision-oriented specialist for a temporary assignment.

Quality Inspector (m/f/d) Temporary

Your tasks: Precision and quality assurance

• Operating and programming 3D coordinate measuring machines
• Independent execution of quality tests and inspections on a wide variety of demanding machine and compressor parts
• Creation of the required inspection protocols including evaluation of the determined measurement results and derivation of further steps
• Creation and systematic processing of Non Conformance Reports (NCR)
• Metrological support and advice for internal and external employees

Qualifications

Your profile: What you bring with you

• Successfully completed vocational training as a polymechanic, machine mechanic, or a comparable qualification
• Sound practical experience in metrology as well as in professional quality inspection
• Experience in operating 3D coordinate measuring machines (CMM), programming knowledge (ideally Hexagon) is a great advantage
• Confident and routine handling of overhead cranes for heavy components of up to 20 tons
• Good and proficient IT user knowledge (Office 365, SAP, WAY)
• Good German skills in speaking and writing
• Mandatory willingness to work in a 2-shift operation
• A very high quality awareness paired with a structured and solution-oriented way of working
• Continuous strive for improvements and great joy in active collaboration within the team
