Your tasks

• Versatile and responsible activities in the maintenance of cantonal roads
• Greenery care in the maintenance area
• Winter and accident service with your colleagues
• On-call service according to specified deployment plans and irregular working hours (also at night and on weekends)

Your profile

• Training and experience in horticulture, agriculture or forestry, e.g. as a landscape gardener or facility management specialist
• Physical and mental resilience, flexibility, strong sense of responsibility and positive attitude
• High concentration and ability to maintain calm even under increased traffic volume and hectic environments
• Robust constitution
• Enjoyment of working in a small and active team
• Driving license category B, BE
• Driving license category C1 or the willingness to obtain it

The Strasseninspektorat Oberaargau belongs to the Tiefbauamt, Oberingenieurkreis IV, of the Bau- und Verkehrsdirektion. A team of 16 employees is responsible for the maintenance and operational readiness of the cantonal roads in Oberaargau.
