Group Leader Tagesschule Niederuster with Morning Care approx. 70%

The Primarschule Uster is the third largest school community in the Canton of Zürich with around 3'000 school and kindergarten children. Uster is accessible from Zürich HB by train in 14 minutes. For the Tagesschule Niederuster, we are looking for a responsible and committed specialist (m/f/d) as a Group Leader. The function combines group leadership on full-day operational days with morning care from Monday to Friday. The assignments take place during school weeks. Working hours and workload: ### • Tagesschule Niederuster: approx. 70% / 24.5 weekly hours during school weeks (incl. morning care) • Tagesschule assignments: Monday, Tuesday and Thursday all day • Morning care: Monday to Friday, 06.45-08.30 Uhr during school weeks • No regular assignments during school holidays; 13 weeks of school holidays Your area of responsibility: ### Tagesschule Niederuster (Group Leader): • Responsibility for the care and promotion of the children during daily operations • Organization of a structured daily routine on the full-day operational days • Design of high-quality care in the interplay of lessons, midday and afternoon • Professional guidance and support of the employees in everyday life • Administrative and organizational tasks (e.g. daily planning, communication, documentation) • Close cooperation with the care management, head of day structures, the care team, the parents and the school Morning care: • Care and accompaniment of the children at the start of the school day • Ensuring a calm, reliable and child-friendly morning operation • Organization of the morning operation, daily information and handover to school or lessons • Professional leadership, accompaniment and assessment of the morning care employees What you bring with you: ### • Completed training in Social Work, Social Pedagogy, Childcare, a teaching diploma or a Federal Diploma of Vocational Education and Training (EFZ) as a Fachperson Betreuung • Experience in caring for children of primary school age, ideally in day structures, day schools or comparable settings • Leadership and communication competence, ideally experience in the professional leadership of employees, as well as a structured, independent way of working • Enjoyment of early working hours as well as working in a lively daily operation • Readiness for full-day assignments on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday • Resilience, flexibility and joy of innovation in everyday life • Proficient in handling modern digital work tools What awaits you with us: ### • Attractive employment conditions according to the guidelines of the City of Uster • Opportunities for further education and personal development • Modern infrastructure and digital aids for optimal organization • A committed and professional team as well as a supportive working environment • A versatile, lively and inspiring field of work with direct influence on pedagogical quality
