For the Hunting and Fishing Department, we are looking for a Co-Department Head Hunting and Fishing, 60-70%, immediately or by arrangement at the Solothurn location. Your Responsibility You will lead the department in a co-leadership role in technical, personnel, financial and organizational respects. You are committed to ensuring that mammals and birds as well as their habitats remain secured or become secured and that their use takes place sustainably. Together with your employees, you are responsible for the enforcement of hunting laws from the Confederation and the Canton. For cantonal politics, you provide the necessary strategic information and the measures and concepts derived from it. You perform the specialist representation towards users and protectors as well as municipalities within the Canton and towards the Confederation. Your Profile You have a university degree in the field of wildlife biology or related and bring several years of experience in a similar professional environment, ideally with leadership experience.
