The contribution you can make

• Assume responsibility for the professional management of work, the conduct of assigned military personnel and/or assigned civilian staff on the occasion of the delivery and collection of army vehicles and material in compliance with the set deadlines
• Store, pick up and transfer vehicles and related material professionally, preparing them according to current regulations and instructions
• Check the condition and functionality of stored vehicles and assume responsibility for the return of defective components for repair and overhaul during the maintenance process
• Instruct and train troops and specialists regarding the handling and maintenance of material within their sphere of competence regarding the collection of army systems and material
• Organize warehouse management, movements and material preparations in collaboration with the relevant transport processes

What distinguishes you

• Completed vocational training as a logistics clerk CFC or equivalent training
• Good knowledge as a user of MS Office and SAP to be used in warehouse management, inventory maintenance and supplementary material orders
• Driving license for categories B, C, E, F is indispensable, licenses for categories CE and A constitute a preferential title
• Rapid and conscientious way of working, organizational skills to ensure impeccable process execution
• Responsible management of SAP materials and a strong aptitude for contact and long-term consulting with customers
• There are internal/external further training possibilities, for example to obtain a federal diploma.

With your technical knowledge as a link between the Army Logistics Center and the military and civilian beneficiaries of services related to army vehicles and material, fuel, subsistence and personal equipment, you will contribute to the regular flow of material throughout Switzerland.

The Swiss Army Logistics Base (BLEs) is at the disposal of the troops. It provides all logistical services for the Swiss Army and, with its approximately 3500 employees and 12000 militia soldiers, manages the material, systems and infrastructure of the Swiss Army. In the workshop or in the office, indoors or outdoors: the BLEs offers a wide range of jobs throughout Switzerland and for all tastes.

The Swiss Army employs over 9000 employees within the framework of four military professions and approximately 200 civilian professions, in 110 locations throughout the national territory. It also provides for new recruits, training apprentices in over 30 professions.
