For our Zurich branch, we are looking for a Technical Janitor/Caretaker (100%) In this versatile function, you will be responsible for a assigned building in Zurich (District 5) in all infrastructural and technical facility management matters at the operational level. You are the central contact person for our tenants, building users, service providers and internal specialist departments and ensure a smooth, safe and efficient building operation. Your area of responsibility includes: Implementing technical and infrastructural facility management for our commercial properties in Zurich. Ensuring the fault-free, safe and energy-efficient operation of technical systems including building automation. Recognizing, analyzing and resolving faults; summoning and accompanying specialist companies as well as initiating immediate measures. Carrying out small repairs, minor orders and maintenance work as well as obtaining quotes. Organizing, coordinating and controlling external service providers in maintenance, cleaning, waste management and winter services including checking reports. Participating in operational optimizations, energy controlling, sustainability measures as well as budget and maintenance planning. Assuming tasks in Safety & Security, fire protection, access management, parking and object documentation. Accompanying handovers and returns of rental spaces as well as supporting tenant concerns and vacancies. Willingness for on-call and fault response duties by arrangement. Your qualifications: Completed technical basic training in the field of HLKKSE/building technology, as a specialist in operational maintenance EFZ or comparable training Further training as a federally certified janitor, maintenance specialist or safety officer for fire protection is an advantage. Several years of experience in the operation of commercial or industrial properties and in-depth knowledge of building technology as well as building automation. Manual skills, good MS Office knowledge and affinity for digital tools such as CAFM/Campos, access control systems and building automation. Independent, responsible and proactive way of working with a high service orientation. Organizational talent, calmness in hectic situations, solution-oriented demeanor and pleasure in contact with tenants, service providers and internal specialist departments.
