Head of Strategic Supplier Management 100% w/m/d Your challenges In this exciting Key Account Management function as "Head of Strategic Supplier Management", you will take on an important part for the supplier maintenance of the company. You focus on sustainability in Supplier Relationship Management and promote a high internal and external quality standard with your central and decentralized team of 20 employees in an international environment. You ensure the harmonization of the entire supply chain and ensure the continuous development of suppliers. In doing so, you report directly to the Director Corporate Procurement and are responsible for the following tasks: Further development of the team of strategic supplier managers in an international environment Active Supplier Relationship Management as well as close support and strengthening of key suppliers Conducting price and contract negotiations on-site and harmonizing the supply chain worldwide Promotion of cross-departmental cooperation of internal specialist departments, such as with the quality department, among others Further development of the long-term supplier strategy and ensuring the measurability of implementation using KPIs Analysis and focused alignment of cooperation with all partners with regard to efficiency, flexibility and future viability of the global supply chains, including the creation of presentations and reports for management Our requirements In order to tackle these comprehensive tasks, you ideally bring the following backpack: University degree in business administration, engineering, supply chain management or equivalent Proven SCM professional with several years of professional experience in procurement as well as in a production environment Industry experience in the aviation industry over several years with close, international supplier contacts Demonstrable good leadership experience in an intercultural environment and in dealing with international suppliers Good Office user skills, sound ERP knowledge SAP S4/Hana Business fluent German and English (C1) Personality: You communicate authentically, emphatically, create clarity, prioritize work and motivate with enthusiasm in different cultures.
