Job description
The kihz foundation operates 8 Kitas in Zürich. Over 150 employees work at our locations and we are committed to high-quality family-supplementary care. Our Kita kihz Tierspital has three mixed-age groups and is located in a quiet, green environment on the edge of Irchelpark. To strengthen our team at kihz Tierspital, we are looking for a committed personality as a Childcare Specialist or Dipl. Early Childhood Educator (90-100 %) from 01.01.2027 or by arrangement until 31.05.2027 as a maternity replacement. Your tasks

Needs-oriented and individual care of children in everyday Kita life
Co-designing a varied, structured, and diverse daily routine
Promotion of the social, emotional, and cognitive development of the children
Planning and implementation of activities (play, movement, creative offers, excursions)
Observation and documentation of the development of the children in the kihz App
Collaboration within the team as well as participation in team meetings
Collaboration and exchange with parents and legal guardians
Assistance with domestic activities (e.g., meal accompaniment, tidying up)
Your profile

Completed training as Childcare Specialist EFZ (specialization children), as dipl. Early Childhood Educator HF or another pedagogical training recognized by the Canton of Zürich.
You also work calmly and patiently in lively situations and are characterized by high perseverance in everyday Kita life.
You enjoy working with children, show empathy, and have good observational skills
You work reliably, are flexible, and solution-oriented
Sense of responsibility, good communication skills, and a high degree of empathy characterize you
Ability to work in a team as well as an independent way of working round off your profile
Our offer In the group you work together with another specialist and apprentices. Together you care for up to 11 children from the age of 4 months until kindergarten entry and design a varied Kita everyday life. At the same time, you are part of a committed Kita team with a supportive management and a progressive working environment.
