Dipl. Occupational Therapist (m/f/d)

The Spitalverbund Appenzell Ausserrhoden with the Akutspital Herisau and the Psychiatrischen Zentrum AR in Herisau ensures the extended basic medical care for the population in the Canton of Appenzell Ausserrhoden and is also the first point of contact for a large part of the population in the surrounding region. Both locations are relevant for care for the canton and beyond.

In the Klinik für Psychiatrie und Psychotherapie under the leadership of Frau Dr. med. univ. (HR) Mirjana Vidakovic, Frau Katharina Büche, as a supplement to our therapeutic specialist team (art, movement, occupational, activation, and music therapy), is looking for an occupational therapist with a workload of 60% to start immediately or by arrangement.

Your tasks

• Occupational therapy treatment (recording, planning, treatment, and evaluation) of inpatient, day-clinic, and outpatient patients in individual and group settings
• Active participation in interdisciplinary reports, intervisions, team meetings, and supervisions
• Cooperation with the interprofessional team
• Progress documentation and service recording

Your profile

• Recognized diploma in occupational therapy (BSc, FH, HF)
• Requirement for the professional practice license is desired
• Additional specialization in the specialist field is desired
• Psychiatric prior experience in the inpatient area is required
• Interest in team-oriented and interdisciplinary cooperation
• Independent way of working
• High degree of flexibility and resilience
• Organizational ability, commitment, flexibility, and ability to work in a team
