Kantonsschule Limmattal is a baccalaureate school for the Knonauer Amt and Limmattal regions and is located in Urdorf. It comprises a two-year lower level (7th/8th school year) and the subsequent short gymnasium (9th-12th school year).

In the coming years, our school will be expanded by a branch in Affoltern am Albis. In the first operating year 2027/28, some initial classes of the lower gymnasium level will be taught at the Urdorf location; they will move to Affoltern a. A. as soon as the new school building is ready for occupancy (expected in the 2028/29 school year). From the 2029/30 school year, additional new classes of the upper gymnasium level will be formed in Affoltern a. A.

Tasks ###

At the beginning of the 2027/28 school year, we are looking for a music teacher who teaches 2-3 classes, drives the development of a new school learning environment together with the setup team, and participates in the establishment of the music department and the associated collection. After the completion of the project phase, the teaching workload can be expanded.

Profile ###

You have a completed university degree in the teaching subject and the teaching diploma for baccalaureate schools or are in the process of acquiring it. You have already gained initial teaching experience at a Swiss secondary school. You are motivated to engage with pioneering spirit and innovative ideas within the framework of the new branch setup project, classroom management, and school development. Furthermore, you are prepared to contribute to the school community as well as in the area of planning and leading special weeks. You are proactive, communicative, and enjoy taking on responsibility.
