Head of Occupational Therapy Your tasks You lead the occupational therapy department personnel-wise (around 16 occupational therapists) and ensure efficient operations. In doing so, you are responsible for attendance and absence management, recruit and support new employees during their induction, and organize and conduct employee appraisal meetings (MAG) and interim reviews You ensure quality in the occupational therapy department and continuously develop it. In addition, you participate in the interprofessional management meetings of the medical therapies and take on the leadership or participation in interprofessional projects You carry out practical and patient-centered occupational therapy assessments, findings surveys, as well as individual and group therapies (including robotics) and evaluate their effectiveness. Your focus is on neurological rehabilitation in an inpatient setting You take on administrative tasks such as electronic progress documentation, writing discharge reports, as well as the organization of outpatient follow-up treatment near the place of residence You work closely and interprofessionally with internal and external specialists Participation in internal training sessions and management days completes the area of responsibility Your profile You have a degree as an occupational therapist (BSc). Ideally, you have further developed your leadership skills with an MSc, MAS, or CAS in the field of leadership You bring experience in leading teams and know how to promote and support employees and achieve goals together You have sound experience in the treatment of neurological and epileptological patients You are interested in neurorehabilitation and value interprofessional cooperation as an important success factor for high-quality patient care You work in a structured and efficient manner, maintain an overview even in complex situations, and think in networks You are characterized by a willingness to perform as well as a pragmatic and solution-oriented way of working and have strong organizational and communicative skills and present yourself in an audience-appropriate manner. Ideally, you bring experience in the field of vocational integration and job coaching. Individual working models in nursing At Klinik Lengg, we work in a large interdisciplinary team of nearly 70 therapists with sound knowledge in various neurological clinical pictures and treatment concepts. The occupational therapy team consists of 16 occupational therapists and 1 activation therapist. We also train students and attach great importance to interprofessional training and team meetings and offer plenty of room for professional exchange and individual promotion in a collegial environment. Continuous development is possible through our close interdisciplinary and interprofessional cooperation. Klinik Lengg AG in Zürich is the competence center for epileptology and neurological rehabilitation.
