As a Team Leader in the field of electronic interlockings Simis IS, you will take over the technical and personnel leadership of a dedicated engineering team. With your positive nature, you create orientation, strengthen cohesion, and motivate your team to achieve demanding goals together. At the same time, you bring your technical know-how to exciting rail projects and ensure the successful implementation of our interlocking solutions with interdisciplinary teams. Your new field of activity • You lead and develop the engineering team in the field of interlocking systems Simis IS and promote an open, trusting, and high-performance team culture. • You provide orientation, motivate your team even in challenging situations, and support the professional and personal development of your employees. • You are responsible for engineering processes, drive their continuous improvement, and strengthen quality, efficiency, and economic efficiency. • As a sub-project manager, you take responsibility for costs, schedules, and technical objectives for the interlocking. • You work closely with international engineering teams as well as with product management, sales, and other specialist departments and support the creation of technical offers. What you bring with you • Technical training at HF/FH level or comparable, ideally in electrical engineering, transport systems, or a related field. • Initial experience in the leadership, development, or technical management of employees and the ability to inspire, engage, and promote people. • Experience in technical project environments as well as a structured, solution-oriented way of working. • Networked thinking, high personal responsibility, and enjoyment in working with different stakeholders. • Fluent German and English skills • Experience in railway signaling technology or in the interlocking environment is a plus.
