The contribution you can make

• Direct the department in terms of organization, technical aspects and human resources, in collaboration with 5 subordinate group leaders
• Responsibility for results related to the provision of logistic services within the scope of maintenance and management of C4ISTAR systems
• Budget management and coordination of specific external logistic services of the department in collaboration with partner organizations
• Further development of your department within the scope of the partial maintenance strategy and orientation towards the future portfolio of Army systems
• Collaboration within the scope of system management concepts, innovation projects, equipment procurement or military development projects

What distinguishes you

• Completed professional apprenticeship with a federal certificate of specialization in the field of informatics, multimedia, automation or electronics, with advanced specialist training
• Continuing education in business administration, leadership or project management
• Knowledge in process management
• Good command of at least one second official language, as well as solid knowledge of technical English
• Military training: having held a military officer function constitutes a preferential qualification

The Swiss Army Logistics Base (BLEs) is at the disposal of the troops. It provides all logistic services for the Swiss Army and, with its approximately 3500 employees and 12000 militia soldiers, manages the material, systems and infrastructure of the Swiss Army. In the workshop or in the office, indoors or outdoors: BLEs offers a wide range of jobs throughout Switzerland and for all tastes.

The Swiss Army employs over 9000 employees within the framework of four military professions and approximately 200 civilian professions, in 110 locations throughout the national territory. Furthermore, it provides for new recruits, training apprentices in over 30 professions.
