Head of Logistics & Warehouse (m/f/d) 100%

Whether it's a trade fair, congress, banquet, or corporate event: there is always something happening at the Olma-Areal. In this role, you and your team will ensure that materials and infrastructure are in the right quantity, quality, and at the right place at the right time.

Your tasks

• Leadership, deployment planning, and further development of the warehouse and logistics team
• Further development of warehouse and logistics processes with a genuine culture of improvement
• Planning of infrastructure for trade fairs, congresses, and events together with the event management
• Warehouse management, incoming and outgoing goods control, as well as periodic inventories
• Material provision according to picking lists, return logistics, and logistics management for large-scale events
• Responsibility for budget, procurement, and cost-conscious material management
• Ensuring all safety, hygiene, and HACCP guidelines in the warehouse
• Deputy for the Head of Infrastructure & Back-of-House

What you bring with you

• Training as a Logistiker/in EFZ or equivalent vocational training
• Several years of experience in warehouse management and logistics
• Proven leadership experience and enjoyment in motivating and developing a team
• Decisiveness and assertiveness in a dynamic environment
• Experience in the trade fair, catering, or event sector is an advantage
• Logical thinking, organizational talent & high level of independence
• Very good communication skills, resilience & stress resistance
• High quality awareness and good manual skills (electrical skills an advantage)
• Driver's license Cat. B/BE and forklift license (Cat. C/C1E an advantage)
• Willingness to work flexible hours and weekends
• Good IT skills in Word, Excel, and Outlook
