Le Centre de Formation Professionnelle Spécialisée (CFPS) Le Repuis is one of the leading structures in French-speaking Switzerland for the training of apprentices with cognitive, physical, psychological, or behavioral difficulties. It welcomes approximately 370 young people per year from all of French-speaking Switzerland and is headquartered in Grandson.

We are looking for

A sanitary installer – 100 % as an apprentice trainer (MSP)

To accompany apprentices in the building technology sector within the CFPS Le Repuis. You will join a small team to ensure the training of apprentices according to the professional requirements of the industry, in close collaboration with the internal network.

The main tasks will be:

• Training apprentices towards a CFC, an AFP, or practical training, by adapting methods and tools to their specific difficulties
• Ensuring support on a practical level as well as on a behavioral and social level and contributing to theoretical acquisitions
• Carrying out production work on-site, at clients' premises, and on construction sites
• Welcoming and evaluating interns in the vocational orientation phase
• Writing reports on apprentice training for our clients
• Collaborating with the various support measures offered (support courses, boarding and day students, psychologists and nurses, etc.) and participating in internal network meetings regarding the young people in training

We require:

• CFC as a sanitary installer indispensable, federal diploma an asset
• ES/HES pedagogical training or the willingness to acquire it during employment
• Experience in training apprentices
• Several years of company experience indispensable
• Personal maturity to approach complex situations involving young people, capacity for introspection and perspective-taking
• Ability to collaborate in a team as well as with various partners from different professions
• Professional experience in a pedagogical or social context an asset
