Your tasks

• Analysis, design and development of your own assortment area
• Negotiations with suppliers
• Responsibility for product development, optimization as well as quality controls
• Coordination of purchasing activities and co-design of purchasing strategies on a national level as well as with the international purchasing organization
• Evaluation of key figures and initiation of coordinated measures
• Market observations and analyses to recognize new trends and changes in customer purchasing behavior
• Interface management (suppliers, quality assurance, merchandise business, marketing)
• Quantity planning

Your profile

• Completed studies (Uni/FH), preferably with a business administration focus
• At least 2 years of professional experience as a Category Manager in retail or in the food industry
• Organizational and coordination talent as well as strong analytical and communicative skills
• Team player mentality, high resilience and commitment
• Assertiveness, independence and care
• Possession of a valid driver's license category B
• Very good German skills, as well as good English skills. Knowledge of another national language is an advantage
