Network Automation Architect

As a Network Automation Architect, you are responsible for the conception, further development, and operation of a secure, highly available, and automated network infrastructure. In doing so, you ensure standardized, reproducible, and secure operation across various environments and actively help shape the network architecture of our Private-Cloud-Plattform. Job Highlights • You implement project goals together with Product Owners, architects, and development and operations teams, and coordinate architecture, operation, security, and automation closely with one another • You continuously design, implement, and further develop network architecture and infrastructure, including segmentation and security concepts for enterprise and datacenter environments • You automate network and infrastructure services according to the principle of Infrastructure as Code, develop reusable modules, and establish quality assurance processes across all environments • You ensure the quality, stability, performance, and security of network services, improve monitoring, logging, and incident handling, and document architecture, operation, and runbooks understandably • You evaluate new technologies for the Private-Cloud-Plattform, plan feasibility studies and rollouts, and seamlessly integrate solutions into existing peripheral systems Your Skills • Technical degree (EFZ) with further training (FH/HF) in computer science desirable, as well as several years of experience in the design and operation of enterprise and datacenter networks • Very good know-how in enterprise networking and routing as well as in the design of segmentation and security concepts; broad understanding of common network protocols and services • Practical experience with Linux as well as container platforms and orchestration, for example with Kubernetes, and routine use of automation, for example with Ansible • Experience in network automation and scripting, in the creation of technical concepts and documentation, as well as in the operation, troubleshooting, and feasibility studies of complex environments • You work independently, structured, and solution-oriented, and remain calm in critical situations • Enjoy working with interdisciplinary teams, architects, and interface partners • Open to working in a scaled agile environment and committed to continuous improvement • Very good German in speaking and writing With us, you have the opportunity to work in one of our offices in Switzerland or from your home office.
