Counting nearly 1'200 employees, the[Département de médecine aiguë](< >)(DMA) includes the services of clinical anesthesiology, pharmacology and toxicology, intensive care, and emergencies. It responds to a quadruple mission through its services which provide their expertise in frequent interaction with all the Hôpitaux Universitaires de Genève, thanks to a transversal platform, with the objective of ensuring the best possible care for patients. The Service des soins intensifs takes care of adult patients who present or are in immediate danger of developing vital organ failures as part of a pathology or its complications, whether medical or surgical, and whose life is generally at risk. It also advises and intervenes if necessary during resuscitation situations in other HUG services and participates in urgent hospital interventions. Weekend worker - 20% Your main mission consists of welcoming the families of patients during weekends and public holidays in the Service des soins intensifs. You accompany families with their loved ones while managing the telephone switchboard during their presence. You also perform certain secretarial tasks, sorting and filing patient files for digitization. Qualifications You are a student, preferably in nursing, physiotherapy, or medicine. You have the ability to manage the unexpected and stressful situations while maintaining good organization. While having ease in contacts, you know how to show empathy in difficult situations. You demonstrate a good capacity for adaptation and are a discreet, courteous, rigorous, and precise person in the tasks entrusted to you. Knowledge of English is an asset.
