The ESB Stiftung Baselland is a regionally significant social enterprise that offers people with support needs attractive training and job opportunities, as well as various forms of living and services. ESB provides its services at 23 locations, 22 of which are in the canton of Basel-Landschaft, and one in the canton of Basel-Stadt. All activities pursue the goal of promoting the self-determined life of people with support needs.

Head of Vocational Measures - Member of the Executive Board 80% - 100% ##

As Head of Department, you are responsible for ensuring and further developing high-quality vocational integration. This includes training offers, the internal vocational school, the youth residential home, the reintegration of adults, and job coaching. You bear the overall operational management of the department, which comprises around 30 employees, and lead the team leaders who report directly to you. In total, the department supports around 140 people who are preparing for training, are in training, or are preparing for professional reintegration.

What you will achieve with us ###

• Professional and personnel leadership of the Vocational Measures, Training, Reintegration, Job Coaching, and Youth Residential Home areas
• Responsibility for the fulfillment of the service mandate and the agreed goals, as well as quality assurance of the Vocational Measures (reporting, etc.) including the Youth Residential Home
• Further development and expansion of the training, job coaching, and housing offers
• Budget responsibility for the Vocational Measures area
• Interdisciplinary cooperation with authorities, specialist agencies, caregivers, and clients
• Further development of new products in the field of Vocational Measures
• Implementation of agogic and pedagogical work according to the Agogic Concept as well as the agreed strategies and goals
• Participation in the strategy process, quality management, and attendance at ESB management meetings
• You represent your area within the Executive Board

What you bring with you ###

• Completed studies in the social or health sector
• Industry-related specialist training as well as leadership and management training
• Very good knowledge of the Swiss vocational training system and the social insurance system, particularly the IV, is mandatory
• Several years of leadership experience in the social and health sector, ideally in the disability sector
• Experience in project and process work is required
• Analytical and conceptual thinking, high social competence, strong communication skills, as well as business-oriented thinking and action
