To strengthen its "Netze" department, FMV is looking for, immediately or by arrangement, a Power Grid Engineer 80% to 100% In this role, you will work in the operational area of the "Netze" department. Your Mission You carry out medium- and long-term grid calculations as part of the development plan for the 65-kV-grid, search for and analyze solutions. You create hypotheses based on industry documents, contacts with partners, etc. You create reports from your conclusions. You manage grid models which are used for various types of calculations (flow, emergencies, fault currents, etc.) in different situations (present, future, seasonal). You manage and conduct studies according to connection requests or planned projects. You contribute to the accurate technical dimensioning of high-voltage equipment and provide support to the Netze department in relation to high-voltage grids and supra-regional distribution. Your Profile Bachelor or Master as HES-Electrical Engineer in the field of electricity (Electrical Engineering, industrial systems with a focus on Power & Control or Energy and Environmental Technology with a focus on Smart Grid) 3-5 years of experience in the field of distribution or transmission grids Analytical skills, good calculation capacity Good knowledge in the field of high voltage Proficiency in grid calculation software and Excel Dynamic, proactive, reliable, resourceful Precise, persistent, organized Ability to work both independently and in a team Native language French or German with good knowledge of the other language (B1-B2) Why work with us?
