To strengthen the Customs, Export Compliance, and International Trade department, we are looking for a structured, analytical, and assertive personality in the Greater Zurich area, effective immediately or by arrangement, for the position: Foreign Trade Specialist 100% (a) Your tasks: Responsibility for the implementation and further development of customs and export compliance processes Ensuring compliance with national and international customs and export control regulations Advising internal specialist departments on all issues related to customs, import, export, origin law, tariff classification, and preferential agreements Supporting international locations with the correct processing of customs procedures as well as with export-relevant topics Analysis and optimization of transport, shipping, and customs costs as well as identification of potential savings Promoting the use of free trade agreements and other customs law simplifications Maintenance and quality assurance of relevant master data such as commodity classifications and origin information in cooperation with purchasing, production, and other specialist departments Processing of issues in the field of letters of credit and documentary transactions (e.g., Cash Against Documents) Identifying risks in international trade in goods as well as developing suitable measures for risk minimization Support in the training and sensitization of employees in customs- and export-relevant topics Your profile: Diploma as a Foreign Trade Specialist (mandatory) Several years of professional experience in international export, foreign trade, or customs Sound knowledge in the areas of customs law, export control, preferential law, tariff classification, and rules of origin Experience in the optimization of processes in international trade in goods Knowledge of letter of credit business as well as international payment and shipping processes is an advantage Very good German and good English skills Confident appearance in an international environment as well as experience in cooperating with freight forwarding and logistics partners Strong communication skills as well as the ability to convey complex matters understandably What we offer: A responsible specialist function with international relevance A modern and appreciative working environment Short decision-making paths and an open corporate culture Attractive opportunities for professional and personal development Flexible structures and a motivated team Contemporary employment conditions as well as a varied field of responsibility Are you looking for a new challenge in an innovative, internationally active company?
