Workplace Services Engineer 80-100% (m/w/d)

What you will do • You will support the operational and strategic responsibility of facility management. • You will collect and analyze building-specific data and compile meaningful reports. • You will be responsible for the master data maintenance of the CAFM system and will further develop the system. You will ensure that building users receive excellent service and fail-safety with regard to rooms. • You will monitor and control the effectiveness of building systems, external suppliers, and support the management of building technical managers. • You will initiate and accompany projects, commissioning, and the continuous improvement of building technology. • You will actively participate in troubleshooting and rectification of heating, ventilation, cooling, and other systems. • You will ensure that the building control system, including IoT sensor technology, functions optimally and is operated correctly by the team. • You will interact with planners, contractors, and internal employees. • You will lead sustainability initiatives and the renewal of existing sustainability certificates. • You will work closely with the Head of Workplace Services on projects for continuous improvement of the user experience of the campus and will actively participate in bringing innovative ideas to this end. • You will be willing to be on call • Representation of the Head of Workplace Services during their absence What you bring • Completed vocational training (commercial or craft) with further education in the field of maintenance or facility management. • Several years of experience in the field of facility management and building technology. • Very good IT skills (Office 365), experience with CAFM systems, and operation of building control systems. • Conceptual thinking and service-oriented action. • Independent, structured, and precise working method. • Stress tolerance, assertiveness, and high social competence. • Very good German and English language skills in writing and speaking.
