As part of the creation of a new department in the Network department, we are recruiting a: Head of Network Development Department 80-100% Your mission In this function, you are responsible for steering and coordinating the strategic development of the Valais high-voltage network (HT). You ensure the strategic management of the assets of this network, the responsibility for coordinating connections in the high-voltage field as well as contractual aspects. Integrated into the Networks department, you guarantee the direction and development of the department. As such, you resolutely orient the department towards strategic network development and the project portfolio. You plan and develop the necessary resources, encourage the development of collaborators' skills in a targeted manner - particularly in the field of Asset Management -, actively participate in the management of the Networks department and directly support the department manager. You ensure close coordination with various partners such as Swissgrid, Valgrid, distribution network managers, producers, industrial partners, customers and authorities. You steer the development of the high-voltage network, emphasizing supply security and the integration of necessary strategic capacities in the long term. Among your other responsibilities are conducting studies related to network development, monitoring connection requests and managing connection and network usage contracts. Additionally, you are responsible for managing contracts related to key assets with simple companies. Your profile • EPF / HES engineering degree in electrical engineering or equivalent training with ideally an EMBA • At least 5-7 years of experience in strategic development and asset management of electrical networks • Proven experience in team management • Experience in the high-voltage network field is an asset • Experience in managing multidisciplinary high-voltage projects • Very good communication and negotiation skills • Leadership and sense of responsibility • Sense of organization and planning (initiative, proactivity, sense of anticipation) • Perseverance, reliability and flexibility • Native language French or German with a very good command of the other language (level C1), very good command of English (level C1) also Why join us?
