TO STRENGTHEN OUR TEAM WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU AS Strategic Buyer (m/f/d) Your tasks Development and implementation of international product group strategies (including hydraulics, pneumatics, operating materials, DIN/standard parts, plastic articles) Overall responsibility for the assigned product groups including management of the global supplier base Conducting market analyses as well as opening up new procurement markets Purchasing controlling as well as initiation and implementation of sustainable cost reduction programs Creation of price comparisons, TCO analyses as well as well-founded make-or-buy decisions Independent conduct of international contract and price negotiations Selection, evaluation and further development of suppliers including conducting audits Close cooperation with development, production and quality to ensure costs, quality and delivery capability Support of development projects with a focus on economic and technical optimization Active co-design of group-wide purchasing initiatives (e.g. within the United Machining Solutions group) Your qualifications Technical basic training supplemented by business administration further training (e.g. purchasing or supply chain management) Several years of experience in strategic purchasing, preferably in mechanical engineering or an industrial environment Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics and technical components/standard parts is a plus Experience in international supplier management as well as intercultural competence Negotiation skills, assertiveness and a good sense for sustainable solutions Very good German as well as business fluent English skills in spoken and written Proficient in handling MS Office and ERP systems (ideally SAP) Analytical, structured and solution-oriented way of working - combined with the willingness to also support operationally if required Strong communication skills and teamwork in a dynamic, international environment Moderate travel activity (approx. 5-10 %) We offer Responsible role with a lot of creative freedom in an internationally oriented environment Open corporate culture with short decision-making paths Strategically relevant position in purchasing with direct influence on the company's success Collegial cooperation across all areas in a motivated team Attractive employment conditions as well as progressive social benefits Individual training and development opportunities are actively promoted 25 to 30 days of vacation per year 40 hour week and annual working time Does this versatile challenge appeal to you?
