Project Management Private Railways Founded in 1923 as a family business, Ö+Frey AG is today a nationally and internationally leading provider of overhead line systems for public transport. The development, planning, construction, and maintenance of these systems are our core competencies. We also use this comprehensive know-how to realize compact charging stations for battery trains and to integrate them optimally into the existing infrastructure. Our "Private Railways" team looks after many standard gauge and meter gauge railways in German-speaking Switzerland. Whether mountain railway or lowland railway, we manage, design, and coordinate projects from the first customer idea through to commissioning after completion of construction. Our daily work includes on-site measurements, the creation of technical sketches for internal component development, and the writing of various reports for BAV dossiers. The administrative management of one's own projects is also naturally part of it. As reinforcement for our team, we are looking for a committed personality. Project Management Private Railways Tasks Management of the project design, planning, and execution of overhead line systems Creation and monitoring of plans, drawings, technical documents, offers, and documentation Inspections and surveys of the overhead line systems Specialist site management and coordination of construction site issues as an interface between planning and execution Coordination of customer orders and interface management (general customer contact) Project assessment and project controlling (reporting) Requirements Completed vocational training in a technical field, advantageously a degree HF/FH/ETH (engineering, electrical, mechanical or civil engineering) Experience in project management as well as in the management of technical projects is an advantage Proficient use of MS-Office programs, CAD knowledge is an advantage Exact and independent way of working as well as willingness to learn new things Business fluent, communication skills, organizational strength, assertiveness, solution-oriented, committed, motivated and a team player Offer You plan and manage projects at various German-speaking private railways from North to South, from the customer inquiry to the documentation of the installed system. In doing so, you use CAD to draw, check, expand, or optimize the plans. You also carry out internal technical clarifications regarding components, which makes your daily work varied. You do not necessarily have to start with us as an experienced project manager. We are also happy to offer you the chance to grow into project management step by step with your technical training. In doing so, we address your individual skills and build them up in a targeted manner. You work independently, but not alone. Experienced project managers are by your side with advice and action.
