Electrical Technician - Emergency Generators

So if you are a motivated and highly enthusiastic person, join the clan for the position of Electrical Technician - Emergency Generators* Your mission: ## As an electrical technician, you will join an activity specialized in the installation, assembly, commissioning, and maintenance of emergency generators. Coming from the field of building electricity, you now wish to evolve your career towards a more industrial and technical environment. Specific training will allow you to progressively develop your skills and specialize in this field. Your activity is divided between approximately 60% workshop work and 40% on-site interventions. Your responsibilities: • Participate in the assembly and electrical wiring of emergency generators • Prepare the equipment, components, and materials necessary for interventions • Perform electrical connections and necessary technical adaptations • Participate in the installation of generators directly at client sites • Perform checks, tests, and commissioning of installations • Read and interpret plans, electrical diagrams, and technical documents • Search for and identify any electrical faults • Participate in preventive and corrective maintenance operations • Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and re-commissioning work • Carry out necessary modifications and adaptations on existing installations • Collaborate with technicians and various stakeholders on site • Provide on-call service according to the established rotation and schedule • Intervene in case of urgent troubleshooting during on-call periods • Respect technical procedures as well as safety rules • Maintain a clean, organized, and secure working environment Now, shall we talk about you? ## You hold a CFC as an electrical installer, assembly electrician, or an equivalent qualification. You have at least 5 to 6 years of experience in building electricity and now wish to give a new direction to your professional career by specializing in a technical field related to industry. Previous experience with generators is not essential. What matters above all is your solid practical experience in electricity, your motivation to learn, and your desire to develop new skills. You are also willing to participate in the on-call service, organized according to a pre-defined rotation. Your profile: • CFC in the field of electricity or equivalent training • Minimum 5 to 6 years of practical experience in building electricity • Very good basics in wiring, connection, and electrical installations • Good ability to read and interpret electrical plans and diagrams • Strong interest in technology and industrial environments • Motivation to train and specialize in emergency generators • Comfortable both in the workshop and on site • Availability to participate in the on-call service according to the organized rotation • Autonomy, rigor, and sense of responsibility • Good team spirit and willingness to learn • Category B driving license indispensable • Residence in Lausanne or the Lausanne region Interested? ## Do you love and master your craft and want to put your skills to the service of projects that truly matter?
