We are looking for several experienced toolmakers for one of our clients in the watchmaking sector, based in Geneva:

Digital Milling Setting Mechanic, digital turning, in digital grinding, specialized in the manufacture of specific tooling, in 2x8 and 3x8 shifts.

Job Description
--------------------

You will be responsible for:

• Series changeovers, setup adjustments, collets and tooling, dimensional fine-tuning, startup of Hermle brand machining centers, DMG CTX lathes, Studer S41 and S141 grinders
• Machining and inspection of manufactured parts (single parts and very small series),
• Precise inspections with traditional workshop inspection tools, 3D inspection and optical inspection depending on the parts.
• Small manual finishing of tooling, and assembly thereof.
• First-level maintenance.
• Position in 2x8 and 3x8 shifts

Profile sought
-----------------

• Must hold a CFC in polymechanics or CFC in micromechanics, BAC professionnel or BTS in Mechanical Production
• Must have had a successful first experience of several years in the mechanical industry in Switzerland, ideally in the watchmaking sector.
• Knowledge in the manufacture of punches and stamping dies is a plus.
• Excellent knowledge in reading blueprints.
• Good knowledge in the use of inspection tools including digital inspection tools.
• Have a good mechanical technical sense to find quick and efficient solutions.
• Be comfortable with IT tools for production monitoring.
• Good vision to respect the visual inspections of manufactured parts.
• Team spirit and cohesion.
