L-aide aux toxicomanes de la région de Bâle is one of the largest private organizations in the Basel region. Our offers include prevention, counseling, addiction treatment, and harm reduction in drug addiction assistance.
At l-ESTA - addiction treatment clinic in Reinach, people aged 16 and over suffering from a substance addiction are treated in a withdrawal and therapy setting. As part of our reorientation, in the coming months we will adapt and reorganize our treatment framework for adolescents and young adults.

Main field

• Accompanying patients in a 24/7 setting in a 3-shift team
• Motivation and activation of patients during the course of the day and during activities
• Implementation of the weekly activity schedule, assistance with planning
• Guaranteeing patient accompaniment based on openness, availability, honesty, and respect
• Support to guarantee a safe, motivating, and empowering treatment atmosphere

We expect

• Diploma as a professional in accompaniment, professional in movement and health, social educator, socio-cultural animator or equivalent at CFC, HES or university level
• Professional experience in the psychiatric field and/or in working with adolescents and young adults is an advantage
• Active and sporty personality, knowledge in group accompaniment
• Good observation skills, motivating communication
• Possibly personal experience with mental illness and/or addiction, abstinence of at least 2 years or stable mental state as well as activity in a self-help group
• High social competence, open and communicative personality as well as the ability to support colleagues and patients in a motivating manner
• Availability for morning, evening, night, and weekend shifts
• Good IT skills
