Setting-up Technician / After-Sales Service - Special Purpose Machines (M/F)

For one of our clients in Yverdon-les-Bains, a technology company specializing in the development and manufacture of high-precision industrial machines, we are looking for a:

Setting-up Technician - assembler / Special Purpose Machines (M/F)

You will intervene directly on the machines during the final assembly, setting-up, commissioning, and technical support phases.

Responsibilities

• Perform the mechanical and functional setting-up of the machines
• Carry out the necessary adjustments, calibrations, and tests before validation
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, or automation-related failures and malfunctions
• Identify the causes of problems and implement corrective actions
• Participate in the commissioning of the equipment
• Ensure troubleshooting and technical support
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance interventions
• Carry out necessary modifications and improvements directly on the equipment
• Report problems encountered to the Engineering and R&D teams
• Document interventions and participate in the continuous improvement of the machines
• Intervene occasionally at client sites according to needs

Profile

• Technical training in mechanics, polymechanics, mechatronics, automation, or industrial maintenance
• Experience in setting-up, troubleshooting, or maintenance of industrial machines
• Very good skills in mechanics and fault finding
• Knowledge of electricity and automation is appreciated
• Good ability to read mechanical plans and technical diagrams
• Comfortable with measurement, control, and diagnostic tools
• You like to understand the global operation of a machine and solve problems directly in the field
• Autonomous, methodical, reactive, and solution-oriented
• Available for occasional business travel
