Your tasks You advise agricultural businesses on the planned use and dimensioning of farm manure (slurry, manure, compost) within the framework of operational nutrient management You manage the nitrate projects in Kanton Zürich and act as an important interface between agriculture and groundwater protection You plan, accompany, and evaluate practical trials on fertilizer use and nutrient efficiency in cooperation with agricultural businesses You actively network theory and practice through the organization of specialist events, occasional collaboration in teaching, and the supervision of student work What you bring with you Training as a Master Farmer, HF Agrotechnik, or BSc/Master in Agronomy or a related field of study Sound knowledge and practical experience in agriculture; experience in field cultivation and the environmental sector is an advantage or motivation to specifically develop further in these topics Strong social, methodological, and self-competence as well as enjoyment in exchanging with agricultural businesses Enthusiasm for the education and further training of farmers If suitable and interested, there is the possibility to teach in basic education and/or higher vocational education.
