Project Manager Politics and Media (80%)

In this role, you are jointly responsible for the political work and communication as well as for the media work of Pro Infirmis and act as the media spokesperson for the organization with a focus on the Romandie. The place of work can be at the headquarters in Zürich or at a Pro Infirmis advisory center in the Romandie. You will work closely with the Communication and Politics team at the headquarters and coordinate with those responsible in the regions.

Your area of responsibility

Politics:

• You are responsible for specific socio-political topic areas in the Politics and Media team, including development and implementation of political positions, demands, and lobbying in this area
• You lead political projects and are responsible for corresponding communication measures
• You write and edit political content such as narratives, key messages, statements, background information, newsletters, and prepare current political topics in terms of content
• You represent Pro Infirmis in political exchange bodies and in networking work

Media:

• You represent Pro Infirmis as a media spokesperson
• You are responsible for the implementation and further development of the media strategy in coordination with the departmental strategy
• You create and coordinate press releases and maintain active relationship management with journalists
• You coordinate media inquiries, prepare media appearances, and accompany them
• You plan political communication and media work within the framework of projects or campaigns and help shape them
• You are responsible for media monitoring and issue management for the early identification of relevant political and social topics

Your profile

• University degree or comparable training in the field of politics, communication, marketing, or media
• Several years of experience in the field of politics and media work
• Experience in leading projects
• Confident handling of digital communication channels as well as print and online formats
• Experience in planning, prioritizing, and managing multiple projects in a dynamic environment
• Very good written and oral communication skills in French and German, advantageously also Italian
• Structured, solution-oriented, and independent way of working
• High organizational ability and overview of complex projects
• Teamwork skills and enjoyment of working with different internal and external partners
