Welcome to an innovative team that is always striving to set the Carlton-Europe Vintage Hotel apart from the "mainstream" and to offer our guests something extraordinary.

Your tasks:

• Production of lunch and dinner menus for groups, seminars, banquets, half-board guests
• Offering a simple à la carte menu for hotel guests and occasionally external guests, as all our restaurants on the Promenade are rented out.
• Caterings in Interlaken and the surrounding area
• Coaching and leading the small kitchen team - in the strong summer season from April to October slightly larger than in the winter months - reduced operations in the quieter months from January to March.
• In view of the small team, you cook along with others and also enjoy standing at the stove
• Coordination of orders and goods deliveries
• Menu and production planning
• Implementation of hygiene and HACCP guidelines
• Coordination of training and team meetings, participation in management meetings
• Usual cleaning work in the kitchen

Your profile
You work in the hotel industry out of passion and enjoy appreciative interaction with people. You like to repeatedly take on new challenges and assume personal responsibility as well as initiative.

You speak German and can converse with suppliers as well as within the hotel. You enjoy cooking and make your contribution to the motivation of the kitchen and service team

The Carlton-Europe-Vintage Hotel was created from two tradition-rich houses. Located near the Ostbahnhof in Interlaken and with a 125-year history since 1898, we are a versatile 4 Star resort operation. We have 69 individually furnished rooms rich in ambiance, 12 serviced apartments and various banquet and seminar rooms. Our public restaurants are leased. In addition, as one of the only hotels for adults, we welcome guests from age 16.
