The Protection of Minors and Adults Authority APMA is by the side of people in difficulty. Those who need help and support can count on the APMA. With us, every day is different. Within the interdisciplinary team, we actively shape a secure future for adults, families, children and adolescents in need of protection.

For the APMA Grisons, Engadina/Valli meridionali branch office, we are looking for a jurist for 1 March 2027 or for a date to be agreed upon.

Tasks

• Support and advice to members of the authority as well as to curators in case of questions of substantive and formal law (law in the field of protection of minors and adults, matrimonial and inheritance law, real estate transactions, insurance law, private international law)
• Autonomous processing of assigned procedures, including acts and agreements subject to consent (art. 416 CC)
• Drafting of decisions relating to assigned procedures
• Actuarial activities for the authority
• Active collaboration in various project groups (e.g. definition of practice, legislative revisions)
• Drafting of minutes in case of hearings

What we expect from you

• University diploma in law
• Professional experience, preferably at a law firm or a court and solid knowledge of private law
• Autonomous person, able to cope with large volumes of work, flexible and able to think interdisciplinarily
• Excellent oral and written expression skills in German, knowledge of Italian is hoped for, knowledge of foreign languages constitutes an advantage
• Careful, efficient and precise working method
• High availability for service and ability to work in a team in the interdisciplinary service
• Proven social skills and empathy towards people who find themselves in difficult life situations
