For the operation, development and modernization of our application environment, we are looking for a motivated person with solid technical skills to fill the position of Application Manager 80\-100 % Your role In this position, you assume responsibility for the implementation, operation, development and monitoring of the applications and services within your area of competence. You thus operate at the crossroads of specialized sectors, IT and external partners. You analyze existing solutions, identify optimization possibilities and actively contribute to the modernization of our application environment, particularly in the areas of cloud, automation, integration and lifecycle management. Your tasks will notably include the following: Implementation and development of SaaS solutions and local solutions Operation, monitoring and continuous improvement of applications and services Automation of technical procedures and support for modern operational processes Specification, implementation, testing and operation of interfaces Participation in change management, updates and lifecycle management Guarantee of system quality, information security and data protection Collaboration with internal stakeholders and external providers Participation in the development of technical standards and modern operating models You bring your own ideas, assume responsibilities and actively contribute, with your colleagues, to the implementation of improvements. Your profile Degree in (management) informatics at tertiary level (higher school, university of applied sciences, EPF or university) Several years of practical experience in application management, preferably in the field of standard and custom software Good technical knowledge in the areas of automation, interfaces and modern operational processes Experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell or Knowledge of Git (e.g. GitHub) and experience with Azure Cloud and Terraform Experience in the implementation and development of software solutions (SaaS and local solutions) Understanding of system quality, information security and data protection Taste for interdisciplinary collaboration as well as for an open and agile working method Very good knowledge of German and good knowledge of English (written and oral) Our offer: why choose Swissmedic Rewarding work, which contributes directly to public health, awaits you.
