It responds to a quadruple mission through its services that provide their expertise in frequent interaction with all of the Hôpitaux Universitaires de Genève, thanks to a transversal platform, with the aim of ensuring the best possible care for patients. The clinical pharmacology and toxicology service guarantees and promotes, through clinical practice and the training of healthcare professionals, the quality, safety, and cost-effectiveness of drug therapy. Personalization of prescriptions is an essential aspect of the service, particularly for vulnerable patients (children, elderly, psychiatric patients). The service is the regional reference center for pharmacovigilance. It also ensures multidisciplinary care recognized in the field of pain management. In all these areas, the service provides excellent teaching and research. Job Description ## Your mission alternates between the different consultations of clinical pharmacology and toxicology, namely the consultation of the therapeutic and toxicological information center, the consultation of pharmacogenomics and personalized therapies, the consultation of gerontopharmacology and/or psychopharmacology. Thus, the priority objective is to improve the management of complex drug treatments in patients at risk and to personalize treatments (polypharmacy, drug interactions, adaptation to renal or hepatic function, adherence). You also participate in the various activities of the service. You exercise a consulting activity for hospitalized patients as well as an outpatient activity in clinical pharmacology and toxicology. Qualifications ## You hold a Swiss federal medical diploma or have a training deemed equivalent by the Commission of Medical Professions (MEBEKO). Clinical experience is an asset to join our positions in clinical pharmacology and toxicology, particularly in the field of general internal medicine or a medical specialty. For non-French speakers, the European French level C1 is mandatory. Your excellent communication skills allow you to interact within a multidisciplinary team and with patients. You are autonomous, flexible, and show commitment.
