Job Description

As Site Manager / Operational Manager, you ensure the supervision, coordination, and smooth running of the Genève site, acting as the link between the teams, the various departments, and the management.

• Organize and supervise site activity, allocate missions, manage priorities, and ensure operational presence with the teams.
• Supervise, support, and unite employees, while promoting fluid communication and a good working climate.
• Guarantee the availability, maintenance, and safety of vehicles, machines, and equipment, as well as the cleanliness of the site.
• Ensure compliance with safety and hygiene standards, current regulations, and internal training.
• Control the quality of goods upon entry and exit, participate in analyses, controls, and production tests.
• Coordinate interventions with the sales department, organize collections, manage stocks, inventories, and RPLP cards.
• Ensure operational versatility: occasional replacement of positions, weighing, driving machinery, and operating installations as needed.
• Analyze situations, anticipate unforeseen events, and propose suitable solutions to guarantee the continuity and quality of operations.
• Perform any task necessary for the smooth running of the site and the company.

Profile sought

We are looking for a profile:

• CFC in recycling or training deemed equivalent
• Forklift driving license and experience in driving loaders
• Confirmed experience in an industrial environment, ideally in the field of recycling or waste recovery
• Solid field experience and good understanding of operational realities
• Excellent command of French, any other language being an asset
• Good command of standard IT tools (Windows, MS Office), indispensable
• Charismatic, pragmatic, and organized personality, with natural authority and a strong sense of responsibility.
• Ability to set a clear framework, unite a team, and make fair and rapid decisions, including when facing unforeseen events.
• Solution-oriented mindset, with a high capacity for adaptation, priority management, and listening, fostering a relationship of trust with employees.
