Gymnasium Neufeld is a state school of the Canton of Bern with around 1'850 students, 200 teachers and 60 employees. The school sets clear and high requirements for teachers and learners and places value on comprehensive counseling and support. It is divided by focus subjects into a humanities and social sciences department, a mathematical-natural sciences department, and an economics and law department. The education in the fourth department, the Berner Maturitätsschule für Erwachsene, leads to a maturité certificate or to the passerelle exam. The fifth department, the kantonale Fachmittelschule, offers a three- or four-year educational program with a cantonal Fachmittelschule or Fachmaturität degree.

Your tasks

As an employee in our secretariat, you fulfill an important hub function in school administration. You support the school management, supervise administrative processes and develop them further. As part of our secretariat team, you are involved in diverse everyday school life.

You are in direct contact with students, teachers, parents and authorities, answer inquiries competently and ensure a smooth workflow. In short: you organize, coordinate, communicate -- and keep an overview even in hectic situations.

Your profile

You have a commercial or equivalent training. Experience in a school environment or in a comparable area is an advantage. You enjoy working in a team and communicate with stylistic confidence in German. French and English skills are welcome. You value the exchange with our different stakeholders and are proficient in handling IT applications. You are resilient and work independently, reliably and responsibly.
