What you can achieve with us You review applications and cost estimates for orthopedic shoe supplies as well as orthopedic and rehabilitation technology aids. You assess the requested supplies regarding appropriateness, simplicity, economic efficiency, and compliance with tariffs. You carry out technical preliminary examinations and decide which cases can be assessed internally and when an external specialist office should be consulted. You clarify technical questions directly with service providers, therapists, doctors, and other involved specialists. You contribute your knowledge to the development and application of review criteria, checklists, and risk-based review processes. You support the employees and managers of the benefits department (Sachleistungen) with complex technical questions and fundamental topics in these specialist areas. Which skills are important to us You have completed vocational training as a (Orthopedic) Shoemaker EFZ, Specialist in Orthopedic Shoe Technology BP, Orthopedist EFZ, Specialist in Rehabilitation Technology BP, or have a comparable training (e.g., Physiotherapist). You bring several years of professional experience in at least one of these specialist areas. You are familiar with the various supply options and ideally already have knowledge of the corresponding tariff structures. Knowledge in the social insurance sector, especially regarding assistive technology benefits of the IV and AHV, is a plus. What is more decisive is your willingness to familiarize yourself with this subject area. You analyze complex facts quickly, think economically, and arrive at clear, professionally justified recommendations. You work carefully, in a structured and independent manner, and like to take responsibility. You value exchange with different professional groups and enjoy working in an interdisciplinary environment. You are digitally savvy and quickly find your way around new systems and work instruments.
